(US).- Downtown Grand Management announced that Marie Ramsey was hired as CFO; Jeffrey Rabinowitz joined as Casino Financial Analyst; Ken Mumby is Director of Table Games; and Anthony Bender is Director of Casino Marketing. They occupy four new positions at the Las Vegas resort, spokeswoman Marina Nicola said.

Before joining Downtown Grand, Ramsey was chief financial officer at the Tropicana, vice president of finance at MGM Grand, and she held senior financial jobs at New York-New York and at Station Casinos.

Rabinowitz will work closely with Ramsey and oversee Downtown Grand’s points program. He most recently was a financial analyst with Maryland Live! Casino in Hanover, Md. He also was a marketing and analyst intern in summer 2012 at the Venetian, and prior to that, an attorney for three years with Stewart Law Firm in Henderson, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Mumby, with 35 years of casino industry experience, most recently was vice president of casino operations for Planet Hollywood.

Bender will oversee promotions, giveaways and other advertising and marketing efforts at the Downtown Grand. He has held management roles at the Riviera and at Stratosphere owner American Casino & Entertainment Properties.

The 634-room Downtown Grand, at North Third Street and East Ogden Avenue, opened in October. It formerly was known as the Lady Luck, whose owners closed the resort six and a half years ago and gutted it.

CIM Group, a Los Angeles-based real estate investment firm, owns the property, and Las Vegas’ Fifth Street Gaming, led by CEO Seth Schorr, runs the casino.
