(Spain).- The Spanish government has officially approved regulations for online slots and exchange betting with the publication of the Ministerial Orders for each vertical in the country’s official gazette.

(Spain).- The Spanish government has officially approved regulations for online slots and exchange betting with the publication of the Ministerial Orders for each vertical in the country’s official gazette.
With the approval of this law, it was established the regulatory frame for the access to the operation and development of gambling activities in the state, opening up the market to a plurality of operators.
Spain's Ministry of Finance and Public Administration described the legislation as being aligned with current standards in neighbouring regulated gambling markets such as Denmark, Italy and the UK, providing legal certainty to operators and participants.
