(Japan).- According to a survey released Monday as many as 25.9 percent of the respondents picked Tokyo’s Odaiba waterfront district as the most attractive location for a casino resort.

Odaiba is followed by 14.2 percent for Okinawa Prefecture, 13.2 percent for Osaka and 10.5 percent for Yokohama, according to the survey by major ad agency Hakuhodo. The survey was conducted online in March on 4,700 people across Japan.

Hakuhodo expects that a resort casino in Odaiba would attract 24 million visitors per year from within Japan. Excluding shopping, Odaiba facilities would generate annual sales of up to ¥2.9 trillion, according to the unit of Hakuhodo DY Holdings.
