What expectations do you have for this year’s event?
As sponsors and new exhibitors, BetConstruct are very proud to be attending AGE 2014. We recognise that this is one of the most important Gaming expos in the world and are very much looking forward to developing new relationships and meeting influential executives from the Australasian gaming industry.
How is BetConstruct positioned in Australia?
We do not currently have any partners in Australia but are very interested in learning more about the betting landscape and regulatory framework. This is very much a fact finding mission for BetConstruct, we position ourselves as a global supplier and are keen to share our expertise with partners around the world.
What innovations are you delivering?
We are currently working on a Sports Betting Terminal and Touch screen solutions that we believe will create global interest. We also try and ensure that all of our software systems are developable and meet our partners evolving requirements; responding to the needs of our customers creates a constant cycle of innovation.
What are you expecting to achieve at the show this year?
The main aim is to showcase our full range of comprehensive solutions for gaming companies, which include an online, land-based Sportsbook, Poker, RNG and Live Dealer Casino, Skill and Virtual games, Financial Betting and Fantasy Sports. It will also be very interesting for us to speak with regulators and local operators so that we can gain more understanding of the regulatory framework and operator requirements.
How do you see future of the industry?
The Gaming industry continues to grow and diversify. For those organisations that react quickly to market and regulatory needs and embrace change, the future always looks good!
What’s your opinion of online gaming? How do you think it will evolve?
Online gaming has had phenomenal growth in several countries during the last few years, in particular with the introduction of in-play betting. Online gaming was also a major factor in operator performance at the World Cup. This will no doubt continue, however it’s further evolution will, of course, be dependent on the customer needs and the regulatory framework of the jurisdictions that one operates in.
