(Nepal).- In the 4th convention of the UNI in Kathmandu, capital of Nepal, Finance Minister Ram Sharan Mahat,  said that the casinos would be resumed soon after holding discussions with workers and concerned bodies.

“Though the government had closed the casinos citing they failed to pay taxes to the government, they will be resumed soon, as thousands of workers rely on the casinos for work,” he said.

With the closure of the casinos, over 10,000 workers have become jobless across the country.  Speaking on a different note, Minister Mahat urged the workers to develop their skills to achieve success in their respective fields.

“The people elected government cannot neglect the social security though the drafting of the Social Security Act has been delayed due to political instability, Mahat,” added.
