Nevada: Multiple interstate online poker websites announce merger
The interstate online poker website will also have a number of benefits for casinos and online poker companies. The passage of an amendment to Nevada's online poker law allows Nevada's governor to reach agreements to create joint player pools with residents of other states. Since then, Nevada has entered into an interstate online poker compact with Delaware, and New Jersey will soon follow.
Despite the fact that the interstate online poker website received approval from the Nevada Gaming Control Board, it will still need the approval of the Nevada Gaming Commission before it may go live.
