Maryland casinos generate over USD 72 million during June

(US).- Maryland officials say the state's four casinos brought in more than USD 72 million in revenue last month. The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency announced the revenue numbers Monday. Maryland Live Casino in Anne Arundel County led the group with more than USD 56.5 million from slot machines and table games. That's an approximately 10 percent increase from June 2013.

Hollywood Casino Perryville generated just over USD 7 million from slots and table games, about a 10 percent decline compared to last June. Casino at Ocean Downs generated more than USD 4.8 million from slot machines, a slight decrease from June 2013.


Rocky Gap Casino Resort generated about USD 3.7 million from slot machines and table games, an increase of more than 50 percent from June 2013.
