Aristocrat confirms advanced talks with VGT

(Australia).- Aristocrat confirmed that it is in advanced discussions with Video Gaming Technologies (VGT), and conducting final due diligence, however notes that “there is no certainty that discussions will ultimately lead to a transaction.”
The complete statement says: “Aristocrat has become aware of media speculation that it is in discussions with US gaming manufacturer Video Gaming Technologies, VGT.
VGT is a leading designer, manufacturer, distributor and operator of gaming player terminals and centrally determined gaming systems. VGT supplies recurring revenue products and services to customers in the United States and Mexico.
Aristocrat has a disciplined approach to transactions and would only contemplate an acquisition that is consistent with its strategy, enhances shareholder value and is materially accretive to earnings and cashflow.
Aristocrat will keep shareholders informed of any further developments in accordance with our continuous disclosure obligations.”
