(US).- At the Canadian Gaming Summit (CGS) 2014, from June 24-25th in Vancouver, WMS Gaming, a Scientific Games company, will present a new product line. Highlighted within this, and making a CGS debut, is the new Blade Stepper cabinet, designed to bring classic mechanical features to the contemporary slot floor.

The Lottery, Gaming and Interactive business units of Scientific Games will present customers with a broad range of products and services and a deep catalogue of innovative content.

Following its merger with WMS, the merged company is well positioned to offer customers a complete lottery, casino and online gaming solution, which can be leveraged in many jurisdictions to engage players wherever they are, whenever they want to play, and in whichever channel they choose. CGS 2014 marks the first time that the company will present its three business units together.

“CGS 2014 is an important opportunity for us to showcase our innovative new products and platforms to the Canadian marketplace,” says Brooks Pierce, Chief Revenue Officer, Gaming. “Furthermore, it is an ideal occasion to showcase the benefits of the three business units of Scientific Games, Gaming, Lottery, and Interactive, as we present them together for the first time. With the depth and breadth of services that we can now offer, we are uniquely positioned to help our casino and lottery customers increase their revenues through multi-channel distribution and cross-channel marketing opportunities for some of the best games in the world.”

WMS’ dedication to providing gaming solutions that deliver value to casino operators will be particularly apparent at CGS 2014 with high-definition graphics and player engagement enabled by the amazingly fast CPU-NXT 3 operating platform on the cutting-edge upright Blade cabinet.

The CPU-NXT3 content library is among the strongest performers in the industry and confirms WMS as a leader in both content and innovation.

The WMS Colossal Jackpots series, designed to combine the mechanics of the successful Colossal Reels family with the Blade cabinet, will also make a CGS 2014 debut. The series launch includes two exciting base games, the Lunaris and Open Kimono themes, each with a unique player experience and 100 lines of high-definition 1080P graphics. A number of new, groundbreaking series on the CPU-NXT3 platform will be showcased in the WMS booth, including the Supercharged Reels, Reel Intensity and Wheel Bonus series.

WMS will also showcase an extensive library of game themes that combine revolutionary play mechanics with iconic licensed entertainment, including powerful brands such as Beetlejuice, The Wizard of Oz and Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory.

The 3-reel mechanical Blade Stepper cabinet, specifically designed with the mechanical player in mind, brings a fresh elegance to the stepper category, providing a pure gambling experience centered around winning jackpots. Powering the Blade Stepper cabinet is the versatile CPU-NXT3 processor capable of controlling extremely quick reels, halo-effect emotive lighting and the ultra-bright LED progressive meter. The 3-reel mechanical Blade Stepper will be displayed with the exciting Dragon Fire, The Best Things in Life, Triple Golden Cherries, and Spy vs. Spy themes, each with their own unique bonus rounds and features. WMS is also excited to present the Monopoly Luxury Diamonds theme—the first Monopoly slot to appear on the Blade Stepper cabinet with a top mechanical wheel.
