Sportech acquires Bump Worldwide

Bump’s partnerships with professional sports teams help raise money for the teams’ charitable foundations through the staging of ‘50/50 raffles’.

The Toronto-based firm currently has license agreements in place with the charitable foundations of 12 professional teams across North American sports competitions the National Hockey League, National Basketball Association, National Football League, Major League Soccer and stock car racing series Nascar.

Bump will utilise the expertise of Sportech Racing and Digital to build on its proprietary mobile platform, as well as develop new platforms and applications for the 50/50 raffles in order to offer engaging fan experiences in and outside of the stadium.

The current Bump management team, led by founder and president Dan Tanenbaum, will continue in their roles under the direction of Sportech Racing and Digital president, Andrew Gaughan.
