Sands Bethlehem's revenue for last month also was higher than any other casino in the state, as has historically been the case. The casino saw about US$ 15.4 million in table-game revenue last month; in May 2013, revenue from table games was about US$ 13.8 million, the gaming control board reports in its monthly figures.
One difference noted in the report was the number of table games open at Sands Bethlehem. It had 200 table games in operation last month, 17 more than in May 2013.
Parx Casino, just outside of Philadelphia, saw the second most revenue from table games last month. It brought in about $10.7 million, according to the gaming control board.
Sands Bethlehem last month marked its five-year anniversary. However, table games such as blackjack and roulette didn't become part of the casino's offerings until about a year later following a change in the state gaming law making them legal.
