(UK).- The Corinthian Club Casino in Glasgow, managed by Casinos Austria International, is in danger of losing its license following complaints by police and a request by them to have the licence reviewed.

The venue which is owned by entrepreneur Stefan King and his G1 firm has suffered problems with violence and public disorder issues in and around the venue for some time now.

Following the complaints and request from police, Mr. King will go before a licensing hearing conveyed to decide the fate of the club which may lose its licence.

The hearing will be held at the end of June with both the Gambling Commission and Casinos Austria attending along with Stefan King.

The casino has already been penalized previously with a reduction in its alcohol licence, having been reduced from a 6AM closing time to 3 in an attempt to reduce disturbances.

A local gaming observer said that the club may lose its alcohol licence completely in one last attempt to quell problems before losing its gaming licence.
