(Italy).- World Match, the Maltese software provider of online gaming, will cooperate with AAMS, the regulatory body that polices the online gaming market in Italy, in order to encourage the operators to comply with the law currently in force. For the same purpose, starting in 2015 all of World Match’s games will be accessible by Italian players only on the websites of regulated gambling operators.

Andrea Boratto, Executive Director of World Match, says that the co-operation with AAMS is part of a long-term business strategy aimed to favor and support the development of the regulated markets.

"The decision of intensifying our efforts on the regulated markets relies on the fact that the fulfillment of the requirements and having successfully passed the control systems of the regulated game is synonymous with fairness and transparency in respect of the players and of the market, for both ourselves and our customers", says Boratto.

The Maltese software provider is following with deep interest the development of all the markets that are going to regulate the online gaming, with a particular attention in the Mediterranean countries.

Boratto says: "World Match has identified Italy as the main European market from which to start the acquisition of market share amongst regulated operators. After Italy, we will focus on Spain, which has undertaken the regulatory process of online Slot Machines and their introduction in the market."
