The National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA) yearly tradeshow is an important event not only for the entire North American Gaming Market but for tribal communities, economies and cultures. The event brings awareness and unity to the tribes, additionally bringing vendors, tribal leaders and gaming executives from around the country for the benefit and empowerment of all Native American communities. Events ranging from Wendell Chino Humanitarian Award Banquet & Concert to networking sessions sponsored by Global Gaming Women, are all meant to support growth in Indian Gaming.
Many vendors took the event in stride, one of the most notable companies was Ortiz Gaming. Ortiz Gaming is a multinational slot manufacturer specializing in Class II & III Bingo themed games and took the spotlight with a two story video wall lining the booth. Ortiz Gaming taking the spotlight was fitting, like the tribal communities they got their start with Bingo.
Other events included a Networking Session, Chairman’s Reception at the USS Midway Museum, Culture night, and the Wendell Chino Humanitarian Award Banquet & Concert. Ortiz Gaming representatives also attended multiple training sessions including the Indian Gaming Level 3 Commissioner Certification training. Every event was an opportunity to learn and participate in the gaming industry as well as immerse and appreciate the Native American culture presented at the show.
The feature gives a new definition to community gaming by creating a new level of excitement, which could be felt by the guests at the booth. Beyond the games excitement Ortiz Gaming representatives boasted about their games unparalleled math generating more time-in-chair and increased coin-in.
