The opening panel of the conference’s recurring “Global Markets Forum” covered the latest developments across Macau with a panel moderated by Tim Craighead of Bloomberg and comprised of Gamal Aziz from Wynn Macau, Grant Bowie from MGM China, and Grant Chum from Sands China. Immediately following that session Pansy Ho delivered the conference’s keynote address to a standing room only crowd which was then followed by the opening of the G2E Asia tradeshow floor.
This year’s tradeshow features 8,500 sq. meters of exhibits reflecting a 20% increase from last year’s installment, showcasing many of the world’s leading manufacturers in the region’s undisputed sourcing hub.
G2E Asia teamed up with the University of Macau, offering students the chance to garner preparation for successful, enduring careers in the gaming industry. “G2E Asia provides an opportunity for the industry to mentor up-and-comers for the real-world challenges of sustaining growth in Macau's booming gaming industry,” said its organizers.
