What products did you present for the Colombian market?
Ariel Castillo (AC): We brought the E*series, a product we had already presented in G2E, ICE and SAGSE. It is now available with the denominations and percentajes that Colombia requires. As a novelty for Latin America, we launched the Jackpot series (J*series) with two games. Besides, in the segment of participation products, we introduced Buffalo Stampede. All these on top of our classic line and Wonder 4.
What balance can you make of the show?
Alejandro Saraintaris (AS): This year it was surprising for me. I see it rather weak in infrastructure. I was surprised to share the space with another event (FEEL EXPO and FADJA Colombia 2014). It is no good for the industry. I had other expectations. Last year I noted an important growth regarding other editions. However, this year I saw it rather deteriorated. With regard to the quality of the visitors, we have received the usual operators. The market will consolidate with the new regulation, although it takes some time.
With regard to market consolidation, Which is the strategy of the firm to keep growing?
AS: We work in Colombia in an indirect way, through our exclusive distributor Gatel, a company leaded by William Huamani. It is a complicated market because, at the beginning it was not well regulated. It is a slow process that we will have to support. Gatel is doing an excellent job and we will obtain positive results.
It what other regional events will you participate?
AS: The next show will be Peru Gaming Show. We are represented in the country by Panamerican International Gaming, a firm leaded by Toni Maawad. Then, we will assist to G2E and SAGSE Buenos Aires.
