180Vita acquires WeakTight.com

The site, which launched in 2007, is visited by more than 5,000 poker players every day. It has multiple features including the world's most comprehensive poker hand conversion tool, which lets poker players import hand histories and stats on opponents, and analyse individual hands or complete sessions to help improve their play. 

WeakTight supports cash games and tournaments across multiple poker sites and softwares, with players able to convert hand histories from poker analysis software such as Holdem Manager and PokerTracker. Among the new features planned by 180Vita are full social media integration, allowing poker players to log in using their Twitter, Facebook or Google accounts.

"We have long admired what WeakTight has done to advance online poker, and first and foremost we want to ensure it continues to be regarded as the best at what it does," said Jamie Nevin, founder of 180Vita.

"We have some very exciting plans for WeakTight, and going forward we will work on integrating it into our portfolio of sites while keeping the features which have made it so popular with online poker players around the globe," he added.

The acquisition of WeakTight comes shortly after 180Vita relaunched its poker media hub PokerTube.com, with the site providing wall-to-wall coverage of the Irish Poker Open last month. The company has promised that there is plenty to look forward to across its portfolio in the lead-up to this summer's World Series of Poker.
