Aguirre points out that FADJA has traditionally been a best-selling show, however in recent years it has focused on institutionality. “Not only we do we have the support and the presence of Colombian authorities and associations, but also the participation of entities such as the Association of State Lotteries and Casinos in Argentina (ALEA), which attended the show for the first time; as well as the Latin American Corporation of State Lotteries and Bets (CIBELAE), on top of other entities from other countries, such as Chile.”
The Colombian Federation of Games of Chance Businessmen (FECEAZAR) and the Colombian Casino and Bingo Federation (FECOLJUEGOS) organized the Second Congress of Compliance Officers with COLJUEGOS support. There was a sportsbooks’ style area, especially allocated to the Sportsbooks Business Rounds.
The CEO of 3A Producciones highlighted the importance given to content. “Colombia is the most attractive market in Latin America due to its political and legal stability. Many European businessmen attended FADJA as exhibitors and visitors in order to witness first-hand the potential of the new gaming modalities in the country. Sportsbooks invigorated the show,” he said.
A space in FADJA was designated to FEELEXPO, the Latin American Entertainment Event. “It was a great addition to the FADJA menu. I think that the initiative was a success because it enabled us to offer the gambling industry a wide range of services in areas such as human resources, creativity, digital marketing for casinos, among others,” said José Aníbal Aguirre.
Looking ahead to next year, FADJA organizer assures that its position will enable it to grow in square metres, effectively allowing it to reach out to more businessmen in Europe and Asia. “We see that the United States is very stable. There are some exhibitors from that market which didn’t participate this year but have however confirmed their attendance in 2015. We are expecting a growth of 20 or 30 percent next year as well as even more diversification of the market of exhibitors,” he concluded.
