(Panama, exclusive Yogonet.com).- SAGSE Central America & Caribbean @ Panama opened its doors yesterday to a first round of celebrations and exhibitions, commemorating its ten years in Panama. Well-known local operators were present throughout Hotel El Panamá, where 25 companies are showing displaying their products and services to the region.

During the opening, Giorgio Gennari Litta and Alan Burak thanked the support of the companies, media and entities that support the organization of the Panamanian show, and awarded Giselle Brea, Director of the Panamanian Gambling Control Committee, with a commemorative plaque. Then, at 3 p.m., it took place the traditional ribbon cut to start the exhibition.

There wasn’t a large number of public during the first day, compared to the two previous editions, however, local operators were present at the show together with representatives of regional casino chains and international manufacturers, which decided to support the show with their presence, no matter if they were exhibitors or not.

Within the show, SAGSE authorities generated a complete shedule of events during the week, among them, the technical training for Latin American operators host by JCM Global yesterday, in charge of Eduardo Rozen and a team of specialized engineers who offered two talks to around 50 casino technicians.

SAGSE schedule had inaugurated its series of events last Tuesday evening, when Crown Casino offered a welcome cocktail that counted with the assistance of around 100 people, and added to their “satellite” events the one developed at 1 p.m., with the draw held by the Panamanian Lottery of Charity, which was broadcast to the whole country. It is considered one of the most traditional and popular draws of its kind worldwide.

Other events are planned for today: From 11,30 a.m., it will start the third edition of Global Gaming Women (GGW) in Latin America, an exclusive event for women in the sector, followed by the first Latin American Marketing Summit, specially targeted to the casino marketing area.

The opening of the second day of exhibition will be held at 3 p.m., and around 8 p.m. it will take place the official closure of the 10th edition, achieving with Giorgio Gennari Litta’s goal, who assured that “the idea is to satisfy the needs of the sector with a regional exhibition that has been evolving, becoming the most international from Mexico to Peru and the Caribbean.”
