Betfair promotes Mark Brooker to COO
(UK).-Mark Brooker, the erstwhile director of sports betting at Betfair, has been promoted to COO of the group, the company announced this week.

(UK).-Mark Brooker, the erstwhile director of sports betting at Betfair, has been promoted to COO of the group, the company announced this week.
Brooker has been with the company for the last four years, and his new responsibilities will place him in the i-gaming hot seat, with the introduction of a new sportsbook high on the priority list.
Prior to his appointment as sports betting director, Brooker was corporate development director; he spent the previous 17 years working in investment banking advising UK companies on equity capital raising and mergers and acquisitions, most recently at Morgan Stanley and prior to that at Merrill Lynch.
He holds a Masters degree in Engineering, Economics and Management from Oxford University.
