Crown Resorts interested in buying Cosmopolitan Vegas Resort

(US/ Australia).- Australia’s Crown Resorts is set to be bidding on a US$2 billion casino complex in Las Vegas. The firm expressed interest in buying the Cosmopolitan casino and hotel complex in Las Vegas, which is owned by Deutsche Bank AG.

The report says the complex is expected to fetch from US$1.5 billion to US$2 billion.


Crown is controlled by Australian tycoon James Packer. Packer also controls one-third of Melco Crown Entertainment, which runs the City of Dreams casino-resort in Macau.
