The betting firm's Australian managing director Luke Brill said the launch is in line with its plans to focus on sports that are underserved by the current market.
“We want to be known as a mobile bookmaker,” he added. "Our deadline for launch is June 12, the start of the World Cup, but we hope to launch the quicker the better."
Brill said the bookmaker will focus on sports betting in its initial phase, adding a horse racing service in time for the Spring Racing Carnival in October and November.
