Prospective customers are now able to open a multi-channel account in a betting shop and use this same account to place bets via Coral’s online and mobile platforms.
Players can also use the account in the retail environment to place bets over the counter, play casino games on fixed odds betting terminals and deposit or withdraw funds.
Playtech also said the online-to-retail integration has allowed its IMS back office system to be synchronised with retail operations, which gives operators a full customer view whether they are playing online, on a mobile device or in a shop.
