(Madrid).- The eastern Westphalian Gauselmann Group had four subsidiaries on display during the Fer-Interazar show that took place in Madrid between 25th and 27th March. Alongside Dosniha from the Balearic island of Majorca and the Spanish collaboration partner Sente, Merkur Gaming and the change machine specialist GeWeTe, had their product portfolio on show.

The Gauselmann subsidiary Dosniha received the prize for best exhibition stand in the previous year during the Fer Interazar. Carlos Chacón, CEO of Dosniha, accepted this distinction on behalf of the company.

Merkur Gaming and the Spanish company Sente enjoy a long and strong partnership. The Gauselmann Group has been successfully present for many years with classic reel-based AWPs in Spain via this sales partner based in Madrid that was also represented with an exhibition stand at the Fer Interazar.

To optimise the opportunities for growth in the Spanish market, the group of companies purchased Dosniha that is based on Majorca in 2012. Alongside the sale of multigamers, this company also has its own development capacities in order to adapt popular Merkur games to the Spanish market.

Visitors to this year’s Fer Interazar were truly impressed by the unique Merkur Gaming and Dosniha product range. As the ‘Merkur Magic’ and ‘Merkur Magic 2’ games selections were presented in the WB4 casino cabinet with ten games as well as the Vision Slant Top cabinet with fourteen games, the games makers once again proved their strong capability to adapt to market requirements. The VLT/SBG solution ‘Merkur Magic Exclusiva’ and the ‘Monopoly’ addition also directed great attention on Dosniha.

Roulette is taking an increasingly important position in the Spanish gaming machine market. Dosniha collaborates here with the Slovenian company Interblock and exhibited the ‘Organic Roulette’ at the show with a total of six player stations. A true eye-catcher was the ‘Highflyer’ that provides top-class gaming entertainment with its two screens. The second floating monitor enables players a better view of the surroundings with the additional benefit of the relaxed seating position that is appreciated by both operators and players.

Merkur Gaming proved its expertise in the field of cash handling with the banknote recyclers Merkur Dispenser 100, Merkur Dispenser Gold and the Merkur Dispenser 100 Plus Gold that can accept international currencies, offering the ticket-in, ticket-out feature. Furthermore, the diverse individual solutions for ideal money management from the change machine manufacturer GeWeTe such as the Cash-Center were on display.

“The Spanish gaming market brings many challenges yet also offers enormous opportunities. We are ideally positioned for these special market requirements with our broadly based product range”, stated Jürgen Stühmeyer, Director of the Gauselmann Group with responsibility for sales in the Spanish market. “Together with our partners Dosniha and Sente, we have the best market knowledge available and are thus in the position to adapt and then offer excellent ‘made in Germany’ products also for Spain”.
