(Puerto Rico, exclusive Yogonet.com).- The Caribbean Gaming Show and Summit, that started yesterday in Puerto Rico, was described as a “small rather than a massive event” by its organizer, Elizabeth Leiva, CEO of CGS Group, days before the official inauguration of its 5th edition. The idea was to offer a quiet business environment. At the end of the first day, she could say that the promise was kept.

At the beginning of the first day, organizers confirmed that around 300 people had registered to attend the show that will conclude its 2014 edition today at 19 p.m. Authorities from Jamaica, Antigua and Barbuda and Panama are among the visitors.

Puerto Rican and regional operators have come to the show to get to know the novelties that the main gaming manufacturers have to offer in the Caribbean and Central America.

It is worth highlighting the case of Novomatic, a firm that is currently managing licenses to commercialize its machines in Puerto Rico and which used the Caribbean Gaming Show & Summit to make its first step into the market.

Other attractions of the show are: Bally’s booth, with its Titanic video slot; Alfastreet’s with its  four-station R4 electronic roulette; and Ainsworth’s, which will feature its A560SL cabinet.

Other exhibitors of note are Aristocrat, TransAct / Suzo-Happ Slot-Tickets, DLV, Gasser, Advansys, Caribbean Gaming Distributors, Spin, Patriot Gaming, Axis, Interbet, Avigilon, Econnect and AromaSys, among others.

The first day of the show concluded with a party on the terrace of Puerto Rico Convention Center, which brought together exhibitors, regulators and operators. The doors will open again today from 13,30 to 19.
