(US).- All six St. Louis area casinos are reporting lower revenue during the month of February. Combined revenue dropped nearly nine percent from last February. The rough winter weather could be to blame.

The revenue drop also means a drop in funding for other programs.

A per-patron fee is used to pay for operations of the Missouri Veterans Commission, which runs nursing homes for more than 1,300 retired service members.
Some of the funds also go to public schools.
