(UK, exclusive yogonet.com).- iSoftBet is a supplier of online and mobile gaming content to online casino operators. This year was the firm’s third year in attendance at ICE; iSoftBet Sales Manager, Luci Apostolou, talked to Yogonet.com about the show and about the firm’s products and online gaming.

How would you define the experience of having been part of ICE 2014?
This year marked our third appearance at the ICE exhibition and it was our most successful to date. The event provides the perfect opportunity to network with some of the biggest names in the industry and we always enjoy meeting existing and future clients at ICE.

We were able to offer visitors to our stand with comprehensive demonstrations of our live and upcoming products including some of our biggest branded games such as Basic Instinct, Rambo and Beverley Hills 90210. It was the first time we were able to showcase some of our newest content such as our 24 branded slot and we were thrilled by the responses we received.

What are your main products?
Primarily, iSoftBet is a supplier of premium online and mobile gaming content to online casino operators. All of our online content is created in flash by our expert team of developers and designers, while our stunning mobile content is created in HTML5, meaning smooth animations, great audio-visual effects and compatibility across all smartphones and tablet devices.

Our games include an extensive range of branded content, signed with some of the world’s biggest film and TV production companies as well as a selection of traditional Vegas-style・slots and a collection of original and innovative iSoftBet slot machines.

How has the space reserved for iGaming evolved at this trade show over the last couple of years?
Since moving to the ExCel Centre from Earls Court, the show has gained a lot more space for brands to showcase their wares and express themselves more creatively. Our stand has grown year on year and the increase in foot traffic around the show has really helped to increase our exposure and get people talking about iSoftBet.

Being a part of the world’s largest iGaming trade show has provided us with an invaluable opportunity to meet global clients on a one-to-one basis and demonstrate our business with a more personable approachwhich would otherwise be near impossible.

In your opinion, does online gaming compete with land based casino or does it just complete the gaming offer?
Land-based casino proved to be a fantastic starting point for the industry, but as time has moved on, more options for casino gaming have become available, and that’s where iSoftBet comes in.

While the games we offer are obviously inspired by land-based slot machines, online casino gaming offers a greater convenience to players as they’re always open and are available at the click of a mouse or the touch of a screen.

While there are obviously a number of benefits to playing in a land-based casino, our offering not only allows players to play from the comfort of their own homes, our mobile games let players can take them wherever they choose. What’s more, the variety of games that we offer vastly outweighs those available in a land-based casino, not to mention the impressive graphics, animations and bonus features currently exclusive to online gaming.

There is, however, talk of introducing features of online gaming such as seamless wallets to land-based casinos, and this would be an obvious advantage to providers that work with both online and land-based casinos. Depending on the success of this development, land-based casino would certainly be an interesting avenue for iSoftBet to consider in the future as a complement to our current offering.

Italy, Spain and Belgium are your main markets. What is the potential for iSoftBet to operate in other European markets and worldwide?
We’re always on the lookout for new territories for business and we’ve had some interesting developments over the past few months. The main focus for our compliance manager right now is the opening of US territories. Operating in the US is proving to be a long and arduous process but we’re confident that our hard work will pay off in the end.

In November last year we were fortunate enough to be awarded a Category 2 Alderney Licence, and we’re now at a stage where we can offer our online and mobile content to a brand new selection of UK-based operators. Our games are currently undergoing certification and we’re in talks with some of the biggest UK operators right now.

On top of all that, we’re currently waiting for the online slot machine market to open up in Spain so that we can start the process of certifying our games for the Spanish market.

What are your plans for the coming months?
First of all, our Alderney Licence accreditation has meant that we’ve got a lot on our plate to ensure that each and every one of our games are fully certified in this jurisdiction. We’re already well on the way to achieving this and we should have all of our games ready for Alderney customers very soon.

On top of that, we’re concentrating on the mobile iGaming market by working with our designers and developers to adapt our existing content for mobile users and bring all of our latest games to the mobile gaming arena.

We’ve already got a great selection of mobile games available to customers but we’re working hard to get all of our latest and greatest branded games including our recently-signed 24 slot machine available on mobile as soon as possible.

The responses we’ve received on the quality of our mobile and branded content have been very encouraging so far, and we’re looking forward to sharing our newest titles with our customers over the coming months.
