Crane Payment Solutions presented its products and technologies at ICE

What products did you display at the recent ICE show?
Products and technologies from across the full Crane Payment Solutions range of brands were showcased at ICE. Amongst the cutting edge solutions on display for the gaming market were the Money Controls Ardac Elite and CashCode one bill validators, the NRI v2 eagle coin acceptor and the Money Controls Universal Hopper. Meanwhile a separate stand showcased MEI products, including the new SCR bank note recycler.

What's your view on this year's ICE?
ICE was once again a major success. Even with some of the travel problems affecting London during the show, visitor numbers were high.
This year’s ICE was a celebration for us as we launched CPI (Crane Payment Innovations) with cake and champagne events at both the MEI and Crane Payment Solutions stands so it was great to be able to share this with so many customers and colleagues.

What are the main markets for you at present?

The gaming industry is important to us worldwide, and in addition to gaming we also operate in other markets including vending. Geographically, we operate in all the major markets – including South and North America, Europe, and Asia – and have a network of global offices providing local support and expertise.
Based on your interactions with colleagues and operators at the show, what do you feel 2014 holds for the industry?
I think 2014 is going to be an exciting year – both for us and for the industry as a whole. There was definitely a sense of optimism and energy coming out of ICE which is fantastic to see.

What plans and expectations do you have for the coming months?
Integrating Crane Payment Solutions and MEI is going to be an ongoing process over the coming months. As far as customers are concerned it’s business as usual, as they can still continue to buy all our high quality products from where they are buying from now.
