(Brazil).- Codere Brazil announced an exclusive joint agreement on Feb. 5 with Jockey Club Parana to share its signal with other racing jurisdictions, including the United States, Australia, Asia, and other Latin countries. The move is designed to expand the distribution of Brazilian racing globally.

Andre Gelfi, managing director of Codere Brazil, called the agreement an important first step in expanding the signal for Brazilian racing worldwide.
"We view this as a critical step in a long-term business model designed to enhance racing in Brazil," Gelfi said. "Under the plan, Codere will oversee the effort that will allow us to reach out beyond our borders and give racing in Brazil an international presence. I'm very excited about the possibilities this creates for our company, as well as for Jockey Club Parana."

Jockey Club Parana is located in Curitiba, a city of two million located between Sao Paulo and Porto Alegre.

Codere is active in the private gaming sector in Europe and Latin America with more than 20,000 employees, 184 gaming halls, three racetracks (Hipodromo de las Americas in Mexico, Hipodromo Presidente Remon in Panama, and Maronas National Racetrack in Uruguay), and 926 betting locations in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Spain, Italy, Mexico, Panama, and Uruguay, and runs internet gaming activities in Italy.
