Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack suffered the most out of all the casinos in the state after it experienced a 16.3% year-on-year drop in slot machine revenue during January. The Board said that tax revenue in January of this year totalled us$ 91.7 million.
Kevin O'Toole, executive director of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, said: “It is likely that the amount of revenue generated was negatively impacted by the significant amounts of snow and extreme cold weather that affected all parts of Pennsylvania in January and has continued into February.”
