These changes will ensure the Group derives maximum benefit in the marketplace from its strong new product portfolios, as a natural step in the progression of its product-led strategy.
The Group expected to appoint a COO by mid-2014, at the conclusion of a rigorous global search, and subject to the appropriate regulatory approvals.
Atul Bali, President of the Americas business, will be leaving Aristocrat at the end of March 2014 to pursue other opportunities. Rich Schneider, Chief Product Officer, will lead the Americas business upon Atul’s departure in an interim capacity.
“I’m pleased at the progress we’re making in implementing our product-led strategy. In line with our vision, we are delivering a step-change in the quality of Aristocrat’s product portfolio across key markets,” Aristocrat CEO and Managing Director, Jamie Odell, said.
“These changes will ensure maximum consistency and focus on our front-end delivery across our Class III businesses globally. I’m confident our new executive structure will ensure we extract maximum benefit from our strong new product portfolios in the market and position the business to accelerate our performance trajectory.”
“I would like to acknowledge Atul Bali’s leadership and contribution during his time at Aristocrat, particularly in supporting our product strategy and helping to guide our growth in digital gaming. On behalf of everyone at Aristocrat, I wish Atul every success in his future endeavours” Mr Odell concluded.
