The Oregon Lottery also plans to retain the 2,500 Spielo prodiGi Vu VLTs that the Company delivered in 2009. The 2,350 Oxygen VLTs will represent an approximately 95% increase in Gtech’s market share. Following the delivery of the Oxygen VLTs, Gtech will have delivered 4,850 VLTs to the Oregon Lottery. The installation of the Oxygen VLTs, combined with the 2,500 prodiGi Vu VLTs, will represent approximately 40% of the Lottery’s total installed base of approximately 12,000 VLTs.
“This expanded agreement is a testament to the excellent ongoing performance of Gtech gaming machines for the Oregon Lottery, one of North America’s most successful and forward-looking VLT programs,” said Gtech Americas President and CEO Jaymin B. Patel. “We are proud to continue our almost decade-long video lottery partnership with the Lottery through this expanded agreement.”
