Work begins on tower four at Sands Cotai Central

(Macau).- Work on the fourth hotel tower at Sands Cotai Central has started, Las Vegas Sands chairman Sheldon Adelson said during a fourth-quarter earnings call late last week, Business Daily reported.

(Macau).- Work on the fourth hotel tower at Sands Cotai Central has started, Las Vegas Sands chairman Sheldon Adelson said during a fourth-quarter earnings call late last week, Business Daily reported.

Las Vegas Sands said last year that the St Regis Tower would cost about us$ 450 million and have more than 700 hotel rooms and apartments.

The tower is due to be completed in the fourth quarter of next year, at the same time as company’s 3,000-room The Parisian casino-resort opens. Las Vegas Sands has about 9,000 hotel rooms in Cotai, with more than 5,700 rooms at Sands Cotai Central.

Sands Cotai Central opened in April 2012. It features three celebrated internationally-renowned hotel brands – Conrad, Sheraton and Holiday Inn – giving visitors to Cotai an expanded offering of affordable luxury in one location, with close to 5,800 hotel rooms to choose from. It also offers over 20 dining options, 20,000 sq.m of meeting space, 64 flexible meeting rooms, 100 retail stores, 2 world class casinos and Live entertainment.
