A new-look Recreativos Franco to exhibit at ICE

(Spain).- Recreativos Franco has shaken up its top management, something which will become clear at ICE where the firm will exhibit its prestigious range of products. The firm’s President, Jesus Franco, chose to overhaul the company’s management in a bid to build on a reputation as a national and international market leader.

Peter Melendo, the firm’s General Manager, has been tasked with leading on the internal restructuring since July 2013. He has 20 years experience as a senior executive at companies such as Sogecable, TVTrans, ASM and Grupo Norte Facilitiy.

Since October, Recreativos Franco has established a Recreational Commercial & Marketing Department, headed by Luigi Limido, an executive with over 20 years’ background in business management, and a recognized manager in Business Strategy, Sales and Marketing having worked for companies like Pricing Solutions Europe, Onix Mosaico, Alexander Proudfoot, Productivity Management Company and Apple Computer España.

With the appointment of Luigi Limido comes an international perspective and an understanding of business processes.

More recently, on January 7, Santiago Escribano joined as Technology Director of a department whose remit covers R&D plus Organization and Systems areas. Escribano brings experience as a consultant with Andersen Consulting, and has worked both as a Project Manager and an International Software Factory General Manager for Union Fenosa, as well as holding CTO and CEO roles respectively at Soluziona and Indra Software Labs. He has also been responsible for Development Centers "near-shore" and "off-shore" in listed companies.

María José Gallardo continues as Vice President with direct responsibility for Institutional and Sectoral Relations.

From Madrid to London

The company, headed by Jesus Franco, will deploy its prestigious range of products at ICE. For this new edition, Franco has made ​​greater efforts to introduce new games with different furniture designs focused on the concept of "multigame cabinet", ie, the same furniture for different games and fully tailored. 

Franco sees ICE is the leading international trade show, even more so than G2E Las Vegas. This is the best platform for unveiling products -  guaranteed by the level and the high number of visitors that flock to the show each year.
Accordingly, Franco has taken steps to expand the physical space taken up by the company at ICE, making its stand as prominent and eye-catching as possible. It plans to reveal a new Slant Top with “a versatile Multistation concept, and a roulette game with a physical wheel”.

Franco will also show its poker game for casino cabinet, Constellation. The company has always been a benchmark of success in poker games. So again, it’s adapting to a new platform with a movable art casino.

In terms of bingo, the firm will present its latest developments through a new Slant Top cabinet, compatible with the requirements of the casino rooms.
Also, in regards to new games, it will introduce its most successful games on previous platforms to the new Constellation, such as the Chinese New Year and the Wild West.

Despite being an international fair, the company will also introduce type B machines for AWP markets, Gnomos Mix being a a real "hit" in Spain.
