Offsidegaming launch mobile sportsbook in Africa

Working closely with Worldstar betting Uganda, Offsidegaming has developed and provided mobile and desktop solutions to the bookmakers’ existing chain of 70 shops in the market.
 
Whilst many in the gaming industry look to LATAM and the Middle East for emerging markets, Offsidegaming has concentrated its efforts in to the development of the African region with Uganda being first of many projects in the African market with 2014 being the year more will follow. With internet penetration on the rise in Africa, 2013 saw it increase by 15% and mobile penetration over 90%, with the forecast that by the end of 2014 nearly 70% of these users will have internet access, it leaves a very open and untouched market.
