Microgaming to develop Terminator 2 online slots casino game
Microgaming will debut the slots game later this year at designated Microgaming online casinos. The game will feature bonus symbols that resemble the characters from Terminator 2, including the title Terminator, and the T-1000 main villain.
Terminator 2 was released in 1991, and was the second movie to feature Arnold Schwarzenegger in the title Terminator role. Unlike the first movie, which saw the Terminator as the principle villain, the character became one of the heroes of the second movie.
Roger Raatgever, CEO of Microgaming, says the entire company is “incredibly excited” to launch the Terminator 2 online slots game. Raatgever compared the hype surrounding the new game to the excitement leading up to the Dark Knight slots series, and expects similar rave reviews. “As explosive as the film, we are in the process of creating an action-packed, jaw-dropping slot; it’s a classic in the making.”
Microgaming has provided no firm release date for Terminator 2 online slots, but players with registered accounts at Microgaming-powered online casinos will be able to access the game once it goes live.
