MEI release two product extensions

Easitrax Web makes driving operational efficiencies and maximizing assets – from the slot floor to the backroom – easier than ever.  As a new software extension for the Easitrax Soft Count cash management system, it provides operators with a value-added alternative to the standard software package.  The intuitive, non-cloud-based portal is configurable to individual needs and allows for greater flexibility when accessing and evaluating the performance data gathered from SC note acceptors.

With Easitrax Web, the data collected in the SC acceptor head can still be used to assist with the drop process, facilitate asset evaluation and conduct preventative maintenance programs.  The software simply makes it easier to import that data, and convert it into reports, from anywhere in the world with intranet access – and those reports can now be customized to highlight the most important metrics, including:

-     acceptance rate
-    active assets
-    cashbox full incidents
-    percentage of denominations accepted by asset
-    drop status
-    jam occurrences
-    rejection types
-    and software versions across the estate.

MEI has also recently released the PPM Advance, a next generation support tool that gives operators and original equipment manufacturers complete control of their games.  Whereas PPM (portable programming module) was a one-button flash tool, PPM Advance is a portable version of MEI’s STS (support and test systems) software.  It features a display screen, enhanced memory, the ability to function under multiple languages and a Bluetooth functionality option to further simplify software management and performance monitoring. 

PPM Advance generates newfound operational efficiencies and lowers maintenance costs.  It allows technicians to perform quick and easy in-field updates for currency data, configuration data and software; performance diagnostics; and audit data reporting.  The Bluetooth functionality upgrade delivers enhanced communications features to the user through an Android phone and tablet app, enabling operators to download software remotely, as well as add EASITRAX Soft Count asset numbers.
