BetVictor renews sponsorship of Welsh Open

(UK).- Online casino and sportsbook operator BetVictor has agreed a new one-year deal to retain its title sponsorship of the 2014 Welsh Open professional ranking snooker tournament. The event will continue to be known as the BetVictor Welsh Open.
BetVictor also served as title sponsor of the 2013 edition of the annual tournament.
Magnus Grinneback, BetVictor Asia’s managing director, said that the company regards the event as an “excellent opportunity to extend the reach of the BetVictor brand to our core markets”.
He added: “The Welsh Open is one of the sport's iconic tournaments and we are delighted to again lend our name and support to an event that has been extended in 2014 to give snooker fans the opportunity to see legends of the sport rub shoulders with some of the new kids on the block in a brand new format.”
The 2014 BetVictor Welsh Open is scheduled to take place from February 19 to March 2 at the Newport Centre, Wales.
