(Macau). - Improved tourist attractions and greater hotel capacity in Hengqin Island is set to drive up casino revenue in Macau by between 16 to 18 percent in January, according to Telsey Advisory Group.

However, the equities research house says the greatest benefit will be felt next month, on the back of the Lunar New Year holidays starting on January 31.

It predicts that the opening of the Chimelong Ocean Kingdom Resort, with its 1,800-room hotel, will attract more tourists to Hengqin Island.
