Interblock shares 2013 highlights and expectations for 2014

“2013 was very important for Interblock, especially in terms of strategic development and new product innovations,” said sources of the firm interviewed by Yogonet.com, who also highlighted their showing at G2E. “Our presentation at G2E Las Vegas in September was like every year at that show -we believe we made a strong impact on our  customers and business partners through our completely new line of products.”

This year’s has also been  significant for Interblock because of its penetration into new markets, especially South-eastern and North-eastern European countries, together with some high profile installations in other parts of the world.

Sources of the company also remarked that the gaming industry is recovering fast from the global recession. “The need for upgrading the casino floors was a bit better this year, but competition was stronger, that’s why our efforts had to be even harder. We believe casino operators are aware of the importance for providing a higher level of service for the players and therefore new investment within the casino floor and its equipment are still present, in order to maintain operational efficiencies and stability.”

When asked about business opportunities, the sources said the following: “Some of our markets have been downsizing their operations, but Interblock found its way out by entering new markets and more importantly by investing in development soon enough, which turned out to be the best possible decision.”
A cross-cutting theme of Interblock’s innovations at 2013 G2E Las Vegas was ‘Play Like a Champion’. “This went along very well with the many exciting novelties we saw at the show. Its highlight was a completely new G5 HD line of products, which brought more power and dynamic to the company operation than ever before, with high definition graphics and larger screens,” sources commented.

A very popular product, which will be showcased at Interblock Casino and Hotel Kongo on December 21st, 2013 in Slovenia, is G5 HD Mini Roulette, the smallest and best performing 8-seat product available on the market. Another popular product that was revealed this year was G5 HD IBHG – Interblock Hologram Games, a stand-alone gaming machine, connected with up to 5 play stations, based on 3D technology, which provides a new way of projecting video to create the illusion of life-size, full color, 3D moving images.

Interblock reveals that it will unveil the first large-size Hologram project installation on a Strip property in Las Vegas, USA some time in December – January time frame. “The beauty of IBHGL is that it’s the crossroad of automation, animation and entertainment. We can offer 60-100 different clips, with different people, outfits, themes, you can even make it seasonal. In 2013 Interblock also developed more variations of stage dimensions to the existing hologram from small (3.5m x 3.5m x 3.5m), medium (4m x 5m x 4m) to large (6.5m x 6.5m x 4m). As well as its currently available Baccarat, arriving soon are Multihand Blackjack and Craps, which the company believes will be a game-changer in the upcoming year.”

Asked about the product or service with the greatest growth potential, the firm’s sources said that it could be their G5 HD Mini Roulette from Interblock’s newly launched G5-HD family of gaming products. “Mini product line consists of Mini Roulette and Mini Dice. These new products will incorporate all of the features of G4 Roulette & Dice products, however in a much smaller diameter – approx. 2m (6.5 ft.).  Pay systems include all known Bill Acceptors and Ticket printers, and both Single Zero Roulette and Double Zero Roulette are available.”

Mini Roulette is available with Single or Double Zero roulette wheel and with or without PID and LED sign on the top and it is built to accommodate any casino floor size with a much smaller footprint. The product incorporates all the features of the G4 Organic Roulette, as well as a color adjustable illuminated armrest. “Players benefit from a mystery progressive Jackpot system (Golden Chip), fast result detection, additional Side Bets and excellent roulette wheel visibility. Newly added features and an ergonomically designed surface provide the G5 HD Mini with an imposing look on the casino floor.”

With regard to expectations for 2014, sources said: “As always our plans are very ambitious. Firstly we would like to repeat our strong G2E show performance at the International Gaming Expo – ICE 2014 in London and to present our new G5 HD product line to European customers. We can promise them even better presentations as of September, which will stir up more interest in our products and help us move forward and expand into markets that we have yet to reach.”
