(Brazil, exclusive Yogonet.com).- Given how both factors affected his firm’s customers, the still simmering European crisis and Argentina’s import barriers constitute 2013 negatives in gaming industry for Rafael Osorio Lisboa, International Key Account, Copag. But that does not dent his optimism: "This year was great for the company at all levels. Now it is time to prepare strategies to make the next one even better," he said.

Undoubtedly, the greatest opportunities this year were in Latin America," said Osorio Lisboa, who believes casinos in the region still offer growth opportunities.

"We feel that some markets, such as Europe and the U.S., continue to suffer economic woes. This is reflected in profits and player traffic. As such , companies’ success has depended on which markets their products have been targeted at. As with previous financial downturns, however, economies are sure to grow again in the very near future and as a result, improve the business situation“,Osorio Lisboa said.

Finally, he stressed that his company was well prepared for many new retail segments and casinos. "We will continue providing excellent products for our customers."
