(Mexico).- Codere names its executive director, Mr. José Antonio Martínez Sampedro, as President of its Mexican subsidiary. As it was informed to the National Commission of the Stock Market (CNMV), the regulatory body of the Spanish Stock Market, the appointment was held after the resignation of Beatrice Eugenia Rangel.

Codere, which has a presence in several Latin American countries, registered losses of around 93 million euros between January and September this year, 80% more than in 2012, as a result of the decrease of its international business. The company, which is the largest games of chance operator in Mexico, reported an income of 437.2 million euros in 2012 in that country.

Besides, the Audit Committee of Codere named the independent counselor Mr. Juan José Zornoza Pérez as the new President of the Committee. Mr. Zorzona Perez had been the President of the Committee of the Corporate Government up to that moment, taking over Mr. Eugenio Vela Sastre position, who had concluded the maximum period allowed for its office, as stated in article 14.1 of the Regulation of the Administration Council.

On the other hand, the Committee of the Corporate Government of Codere unanimously decided to name the independent counselor Mr. Juan Junquera Temprano as the new President of that Committee, who had been a board member, replacing Mr. Juan José Zornoza Pérez.
