An upgrade Osage Casino-Skiatook opened its doors

(US).- The upgrade Osage Casino Hotel in Skiatook opened its doors on Monday. The tribe's latest casino upgrade included a new gaming area and a 33-room three-story hotel, a fitness center, a swimming pool and a convention space. "The nation is thrilled to be celebrating the opening of Osage Casino-Skiatook," Osage Nation Assistant Principal Chief, Scott BigHorse, said. "It not only benefits the nation, it positively impacts the Skiatook community."

Skiatook Mayor Randy Sien said the upgraded casino should boost the town economy."The city of Skiatook is proud to have this great new facility in our community," Sien said. "Not only is it a great venue, but also it is great for the economic stability of Skiatook."

The Osage's Skiatook casino is one of seven casinos owned and operated by the Osage Nation, according to a release. The Osage Nation is upgrading and reopening each of the tribe's casinos, at an estimated total investment of about us$ 60 million, as previously reported.

The us$ 16.5 million Osage Casino-Tulsa opened in 2005 then it was named the Million Dollar Elm Casino  at 36th Street North and the L.L. Tisdale Parkway.
