(US).- Developers are competing to build Las Vegas-style casinos after voters approved a constitutional amendment last month. The owners of the Saratoga Casino and Raceway in Saratoga Springs, New York, are among them.  A growing number of investor groups will compete to build one of four new casinos in New York state with live table games such as roulette, blackjack and craps.

Developers are competing to build Las Vegas-style casinos after voters approved a constitutional amendment last month that will allow four gaming centers complete with blackjack, craps and roulette tables, to be built in addition to those already operated by Indian nations, according to a report by the Associated Press.


More than eight groups are preparing to bid to build casinos in the Catskills, Binghamton and the Albany, NY area.
