(Argentina, exclusive Yogonet.com).- Greg Colella, Bally’s Senior Director of Product Management, granted an interview to Yogonet.com in which he commented on the products displayed at the recent SAGSE show in Buenos Aires. He also talked about the general situation of the firm in Latin America. “The Latin American market continues to grow and we have been spending a lot of time there to understand the audience and work even harder on providing them great content.”

What can you tell me about the products you presented at SAGSE?
At SAGSE, Bally showcased more than 25 unique game titles, including world-class licensed branded games Michael Jackson Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’, ZZ Top Live from Texas and Pawn Stars, along with an array of cutting-edge systems technologies.

All of these games incorporate player interaction to engage patrons in a unique way. For example, ZZ Top Live from Texas features the exciting U-Spin wheel, along with five of the band’s greatest hits and loads of content.

Michael Jackson Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’ expands upon the success of Michael Jackson King of Pop, which was a huge hit over the past year. The new game features three Free Games bonuses, many of Michael Jackson’s hit songs, and some fun new video content taken from the performer’s famous music videos. We think players are going to flock to the game.

ZZ Top Live from Texas and the new Michael Jackson title, along with Pawn Stars, all include custom surround-sound chairs that add to the compelling player experience.

What products are doing well in Latin-America?
Our Pro Series V32 cabinet is doing very well. The V32 has an impressive 32-inch vertical screen, which is taller than most slot machines in Latin America. Players are looking for a lot of lines and low credits, so they can bet 30, 40, or 50 credits on a game. We’ll be introducing more titles for the cabinet over the coming year with a focus on engaging play mechanics, clever themes, and animated graphics that deliver an exceptional play experience.

Do you see any differences across the LATAM markets?
I spent some time in Colombia and Peru earlier this month. It seems to me that players here are not looking for as high a line level configuration as some other areas.

I think that in Latin America the games with more bonusing events and action keep players more engaged and allow them to stretch their budgets a little further.  The language is important so the player can understand what’s going on. About 80 percent of our games at the show are translated or have the ability for players to select the language, so they can choose from English or Spanish.

We’re especially excited that Pawn Stars is a selectable-language game. The video slot brings one of the world’s top TV shows to casino floors.

How can we expect slots to evolve in the local market in the years to come?
One of the newest products we had in this year’s show is the Pro Series Wave, which is a trailblazing platform with a 40-inch concave high-definition monitor that curves gracefully inward. The Wave cabinet is so sleek and innovative that players are going to immediately recognize it when they enter a casino. The best thing about Pro Wave is it can utilize an array of existing content from Bally’s V32 and V22/22 families. We are excited to be introducing a new cabinet that comes with a full library of proven games.

Are you going to launch specifically developed products for Latin America?
Bally’s new Multi-Game suite for Latin America combines four popular games into one versatile platform, delivering a variety of options that will please any player. Along with four entertaining games to choose from, Bally’s Multi-Game offers player-selectable English/Spanish. Players can select from up to four denominations and choose different max bet configurations per denomination, per game.

The Latin American market continues to grow and we have been spending a lot of time there in order to understand the audience and work even harder on providing them great content.
