EGT introduced its latest products at SAGSE Buenos Aires

How was SAGSE 2013 for EGT?
At this year’s SAGSE we enjoyed observing the latest worldwide trends in the gaming business as well as displaying our own innovations. I am glad to say that we noticed a vast recovery of the regional gaming market after the market recession and the smoking ban. For the first time EGT introduced some of its most recent products on the local market. The highlight of the booth was the sleek upright cabinet P-24/24 Up from the Premier Series.

In order to offer ultimate experience to the players, EGT offers a wide library of attractive games organised in various multigame mixes, the latest of them –Premier Multi 4, featuring 40 high-quality games among which Keno, card games and roulette games.EGT also presented a magnificent multiplayer system based on the revolutionary STORK terminal with innovative 32” four-sided statistics display. The unique flexible design of the luxurious multiplayer terminals enables an individual configuration and arrangement according to the specific gaming floor. A brand new asset for the company is the multigame, which allows simultaneous play on up to three roulette wheels together with Blackjack games.

Among the other products on show at EGT’s booth were the Cat4Cash Progressive Jackpot System and the well-known machines from the Vega Vision+ Series.

How do you feel the current import restrictions in Argentina has impacted companies and products in the sector; how do you feel it shaped the mood of the show, if at all? 
The Argentinean market needs the renewal of equipment. After the new regulations in 2012 the import-export situation became harmful. But there’s a light at the end of the tunnel that keeps getting brighter, what with the recent elections and with financial structures now offering different solutions for importers and payment plans in local currency for clients, in effect helping to ease the problems.

What are the perspectives for the Argentinean industry for the short and medium term?
The long term potential of the market ensure that the current investments won´t be lost easily. The gaming industry here is set to change in the next 3-5 years and will embrace the latest technologies. The demand of players will continue growing and on-line solutions will offer alternatives, such as in other parts of the region.

What Latin American markets have greater relevance for you?
The wide variety of innovative and eye-catching products characterised EGT as one of the most advanced gaming manufacturers at the show.  We enjoyed a constant flow of visitors at the booth not only from Argentina but also from Uruguay, Chile, Paraguay, Colombia, Peru, etc. All of them expressed their enthusiasm about our products and were eager for future collaboration with EGT.

As 2013 comes to a close, what have been this year’s highs and lows?
I would say that SAGSE 2013 has started a process of even vaster expansion of the presence of EGT in Latin America. Our company is well-known for its stability and loyal partnership and EGT’s products are becoming more and more popular among the players and the operators. We from EGT guarantee that we will continue this trend and will offer even more to our customers!
