(Argentina, exclusive Yogonet.com).- Tracy Cohen and Brad Broderick, TCS John Huxley’s Marketing Manager and COO respectively, spoke to Yogonet.com during SAGSE Buenos Aires. They talked about the firm’s main product developments as well as its most important markets. “For 2014 we are forecasting a very positive year”, Broderick said.

What products did you present at SAGSE?

Tracy Cohen: One of our main products is one of our newest - Supernova, a powerful floor wide event and mystery progressive platform that can adapt to almost any table game allowing operators to configure as many different prizes and jackpots as they want. This is the first time we have shown it fully in Latin America; we recently launched it at G2E in Las Vegas, and since March we have been rolling it out in South Africa. With over 60 tables so far placed in South Africa alone, Supernova is doing well and we are hoping to have the same success in the US and Latin America after the SAGSE show. We are still focusing on our traditional products such as chippers, wheels, displays and tables and will continue to drive innovation and develop these products, to add value and increase our customer’s revenues.

What are your expectations’ for the Latin-American market?

Brad Broderick:  For 2014 we are forecasting a very positive year with the roll-out of Supernova, with trials that we have already arranged with Latin American casino operators; in addition we have been chosen to supply two new casinos opening in Panama, and one new casino resort in Costa Rica. We expect a good year ahead.

What is your view on the Argentinean market?

BB: We still continue to place products across Argentina with our regular casino customer’s, who we have had a great relationship with for so many years. We have great local representation with Elizabeth Romano and her team who work very closely with our customers here to ensure we meet their requirements despite the challenging market conditions

How do you see the global market evolving?

TC: Asia and Macau in particular is king right now, as far as the size of the market is concerned.  The extraordinary growth in the Asia Pacific region has resulted in an expansion of our teams there, with our Lead Director of Product and Development based in Macau to strengthen business partnerships and drive innovation. We are listening to our customers and developing products and services for the expanding Asian market which in turn brings benefits to the wider global market.

BB: The US economy is definitely changing, Las Vegas is now starting to rebound and we have a very large casino resort opening on the Las Vegas Strip this year. This is the new SLS property. We are also excited about the announcement of New York state’s seven new casino licences.

The regional business continues to grow and new gaming territories continue to appear. We are positive about the coming year.

What other shows are you going to be present at?

TC: ICE in London, G2E Asia, G2E LAS Vegas and then some smaller ones such as Canadian Gaming Summit, Caribbean Gaming Show.
