Dutch Gaming Authority to cooperate with European countries
(Holland).- Jan Suyver, Dutch Gambling Authority Chairman, has said that his Authority – know in Dutch as Kansspelautoriteit - will work closely with colleagues in other countriesto stamp out illegal gambling.

(Holland).- Jan Suyver, Dutch Gambling Authority Chairman, has said that his Authority – know in Dutch as Kansspelautoriteit - will work closely with colleagues in other countriesto stamp out illegal gambling.
Kansspelautoriteit is poised to sign letters of intent with its counterparts in Belgium, France and Denmark working towards cooperation in combating illegal gambling.
“The Gambling Authority will work closely with colleagues in other countries,” Suyver told BNR news radio. “But we can only commence the real cooperation once the Dutch online law comes into force”.
Suyver intimated that a cooperation agreement with the British Gambling Commission was also on the cards effectively creating a coalition across Europe that will “channel the average player to licensed online operators which in effect will suppress illegal operations.”
