(Argentina, exclusive Yogonet.com) - Suzo Happ Argentina exhibited at the recent SAGSE Buenos Aires its new product line named Lamiled, which is divided into three application areas: "Backlight-Lamiled BA" "Ambientación-Lamiled AM " and “Iluminación-Lamiled IL”. "We were amazed at the good reception from customers," said Gabriela Elena, Sales Manager for Latin America.

What do feel about Suzo’s participation in SAGSE?
Our presentation was very good. As always, each show is an opportunity to meet our locals and Latin Americans customers. As always, SAGSE meets our quality expectations of people who visit us. This year's show was smaller and perhaps the crowds weren’t equal to previous years, but I guess that’s logical given  the situation in the sector in general.

What was the visitor feedback like on Lamiled?
Excellent. The truth is that we are very excited about our new product line and we were amazed at the good reception from customers. On the other hand, Lamiled allows us to progress well in terms of the obstacles on imports as the lighting and backlight systems we manufacture locally have a very high national integration of raw materials (80% of the cost) so the low incidence of imported material makes things easier.

How do you see the Argentinean industry evolving over the short and medium term?
Considering the current situation regarding the impossibility of importing products, prospects are perhaps not the most encouraging. In our particular case the obstacles hadn’t been total. It is true that we can’t import as much as we would like, but at least we can cope with the situation.
Although Argentina is the company’s most important market, we should not forget the rest of the countries in the region, such as Uruguay, Chile, Colombia and Peru. These countries have marked a steady growth over time enabling us to focus sales effort in these regions.

As 2013 comes to an end, what would you rate as your highs and lows this year?
This year, along with the previous one, were among the most creative in our business. I do not want to frame them in to positive or negative, but rather as challenges that we face.

Recently, in terms of gaming, we have had to develop products and business to respond to the current realities of the sector. The way in which we attend to and serve our customers is also different given the current conditions, since their needs are immediate but cannot always be met straight away. Therefore, our strength is to give concrete answers to our customers. We hope to get more predictability in the future but for now the rules of the game are these and we have to get along with them.
