(Macau).- The first Macao Gaming Show, which took place last November 14-16, attracted 8,634 visitors, the organisers say. The show, held in CotaiExpo in the Venetian Macao, had 7,887 square metres of exhibition space occupied by 102 exhibitors.

The exhibitors included junket operators that together account for half of Macau’s revenue from VIP gaming – which in turn accounts for about 65 percent of all casino revenue.

The Macau Gaming Equipment Manufacturers Association organised the show. Association chairman Jay Chun said: “We’re only going to get bigger and better from here, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s show.”
